About This Role

We are seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking leader to fill this critical position.

This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring operational excellence, driving business performance, and leading the organisation through its next phase of growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across all corporate functions, including compliance, facilities, ICT, business development, marketing, and external relations.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, driving efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across divisions.
  • Collaborate with executive team members and general managers to develop and execute long-term operational strategies that support growth and innovation.
  • Support the development and execution of sales strategies and contribute to market intelligence to ensure agile responses to emerging opportunities.
  • Work closely with the CFO to manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance within the Operations Division, ensuring effective resource allocation.
  • Lead risk and compliance functions, ensuring policies and mitigation strategies are in place to maintain business continuity and organisational resilience.
  • Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, representing the organisation with credibility and professionalism.
  • Foster a high-performance culture aligned with company values, while developing and mentoring future leaders across the organisation.

With experience as a COO or in a similar operational role, the ideal candidate will be adept at leading cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvement, and embedding a culture of accountability and collaboration.

They will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Management, or a related field.
