The effectiveness of risk management, controls, and governance processes is essential for the success of any organization. In this role, you will work closely with senior management and staff across all divisions to provide independent assurance regarding these processes.

We have nearly 250 professional audit personnel who conduct internal audits group-wide, providing critical insights to the Board Audit Committee. Our Group Audit and Assurance team are responsible for ensuring the integrity of our risk management frameworks and controls.

We keep pace with digital technology and re-imagine ourselves with the latest global best practices and innovation. We support the business with new insights and risk coverage that puts customers first.

Embedded digital assurance into audit activities, using Artificial Intelligence in routine control testing and digital tools to improve the employee experience. Opportunities exist at various levels within Group Audit & Assurance, supporting Retail/Business Banking, Risk Management & Regulatory Compliance, Non-Financial Risk, Credit Risk, Environmental and Social Risk, Financial Crime, Data Management/AI, Group Operations, Institutional Banking and Markets, Enterprise Services and Technology, Professional Practices, Operations and Projects.

Key responsibilities include managing high-quality assurance work, delivering value advice, building strong relationships, being agents of change, and positively leading change. Proven experience in Internal Audit or Assurance, Top Tier accounting organisation experience, complex multinational experience, solutions-focused approach, strategic leadership mindset, CA/CPA qualifications, and relevant audit qualifications are desired.
