Internal Auditor

About this role:

This is a key position supporting the facilitation, coordination, and delivery of internal audits and control testing. The successful candidate will provide assurance and foster ongoing improvement.

  • Conduct thorough internal audits employing qualitative and quantitative methodologies in line with established standards.
  • Develop and support an annual schedule of internal audits through consultation with stakeholders.
  • Co-design actions to mitigate risk and align with strategic priorities.
  • Monitor and report on assurance activity and support external audits.
  • Presentation of audit findings and themes to senior management and executives.
  • Ongoing assurance over key risk areas and controls.

What we're looking for:

The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications and two years' experience in internal auditing. An acknowledged auditing qualification would be beneficial. Alternatively, five years' experience in the Human Services sector would be considered.
