Job Description

This role involves assessing and evaluating Bank activities to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls. The incumbent will play a crucial role in delivering objective reports to senior management and contributing to the development and implementation of the Audit’s strategic/business plan.

The successful candidate will lead teams in providing independent assurance by reviewing the design and effectiveness of governance, risk management frameworks, and controls. They will also oversee coordination and planning, including resourcing, managing subject matter experts, and adhering to time and cost budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead audit teams through complex audits and reviews.
  • Ensure that governance frameworks and controls are comprehensive and promote effective risk mitigation.
  • Guide teams to complete engagements in a positive, collaborative, and professional manner.
  • Handle complex aspects of engagement scopes as needed.
  • Oversee coordination and planning, including resourcing and budgeting.
Qualifications and Skills

The successful candidate will have proven ability to work independently and take a leadership role on audit projects. They will also have extensive experience in leading audit teams, proficiency in computer-assisted audit techniques, and demonstrated expertise in auditing banking operations.
