Gain Auditing Experience

This internship provides students and graduates with hands-on experience in auditing and assurance. You will work closely with experienced professionals to develop your skills in this area.

  • Examine key areas of business performance and report findings to management as well as external parties.
  • Reconcile numerical entries, check minutes, and verify that financial information is represented accurately and fairly.
  • Support in audit preparations and reporting.
  • Compile financial data for analysis. Complete balance sheet reporting and examine P&Ls and provide inputs to the senior management team.
What You Will Learn
  • Gain a deep understanding of accounting and audit standards which are vital for your future career.
  • Develop skills in conducting an audit in accordance with the auditing standards of the Corporations Act 2001 (Section 307A).
  • Understand how to meet independence requirements and give an auditor's independence declaration.
  • Learn how to report suspected contraventions of the Corporations Act to ASIC.
