The Role
The Store Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our retail stores, leading by example and driving the team to achieve set targets. Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing operational reports and records to ensure company policies and procedures are upheld.
- Implementing and managing set up and set down processes.
- Reviewing and sending daily reports to management, ensuring all figures balance.
- Monitoring store transfers, damaged returns, and CS inventory to maintain optimal store levels.
- Defining sales team responsibilities and ensuring tasks are completed to the expected standard.
- Conducting orientation and regular training, coaching, and developing the team.
- Ensuring store sales targets are consistently met.
- Dealing with elevated clients and supporting the team as needed.
- Liaising with HR and Brand Manager on recruitment and staff performance.
- Staying up-to-date with Tissot e-learning and providing ongoing feedback to the Brand Manager.
- Coaching sales teams to maintain high selling standards.
- Collaborating with the Marketing & Communications team to develop and coordinate events.
- Managing boutique public relations and working closely with centre management to maximize opportunities.
- Developing relationships with tour operators.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of retail experience in the high-range/premium sector preferred.
- Highly developed and proven customer service skills.
- Proven staff management experience.
- Computer literacy skills: Word, Excel.
- Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
- Numerical and financial skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective time management skills.
- Team player.
- Energy, drive, and enthusiasm.
