About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Marketing Officer to join our Marketing and Communications team at the Garvan Research Foundation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the Garvan brand and support our fundraising and awareness efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the custodian of the Garvan brand, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all marketing materials and communications.
  • Develop and produce key communication assets, including supporter magazines, annual reports, and other marketing materials.
  • Manage and coordinate marketing projects, working closely with stakeholders to ensure timely and effective delivery.
  • Collaborate with designers and other team members to create engaging and effective marketing campaigns.
  • Provide exceptional project management and stakeholder communication skills to ensure successful project outcomes.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced marketing professional with a strong track record of success in developing and implementing marketing strategies. You will have excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Key qualifications and experience include:

  • Minimum 3+ years of marketing/communications experience.
  • Experience producing marketing materials, including supporter magazines and annual reports.
  • Exceptional project management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Excellent ability to effectively liaise with designers and other team members.
  • High level of accuracy and eye for detail in all completed work.
  • Professional interpersonal skills and presentation.
  • High level of computer skills, including MS Office products.
