**Job Title: Fire Protection Specialist**
**About the Role**
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and compliance of fire protection systems at our mine site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, Testing, Maintenance, Fault Finding and Repair of fire protection equipment including Sprinkler Systems, Deluge Systems, Foam Suppression Systems, Gas Suppression Systems, Hydrant Systems, Hose Reels, Fire Pump Sets.
- Maintain Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) responsibilities, ensuring full compliance with company/site policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all work aligns with contractual requirements and industry standards and is serviced to the highest standards.
- Complete service activities to guarantee timely and efficient completion of tasks within required timeframes, tolerance and budget.
- Maintain effective communication with client representatives and stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Proactively identify and resolve site issues, implementing solutions and improvements to enhance overall operations.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Australian recognised Trade Qualification - Sprinkler Fitter.
- Previous Experience in the fire industry would be an advantage but not essential.
- Proven capability to complete tasks while managing competing priorities.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- White Card and relevant licences.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address and resolve issues effectively.
- Current C Class Driver's Licence - Manual Vehicle.
