About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Regional Emergency Management Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our emergency management unit, you will be responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of state-wide all-hazard emergency management planning, training, and capability-building activities throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the development and implementation of state-wide all-hazard emergency management planning, training, and capability-building activities
- Work collaboratively with other regions and emergency management stakeholders to develop and implement emergency management plans
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure effective emergency management practices
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in emergency management, business administration or a related field
- Significant experience in emergency management, preferably in a leadership or coordination role
- Current driver's license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
