Are you a healthcare professional seeking a leadership opportunity where you can make a positive difference to people impacted by blood cancer?
We are seeking an experienced healthcare leader to take on a 12-month parental leave contract as Clinical Services Manager for our VIC, TAS, WA and SA region. In this role, you will lead a team of Supportive Care Case Managers to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality supportive care services to people affected by blood cancer.
This is a full-time fixed-term contract based out of our Melbourne office, with flexibility to work from home one day a week.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a cohesive and motivated team to deliver safe, high-quality patient-centred supportive care services.
- Improve patient outcomes through effective assessment, care planning, and comprehensive support.
- Ensure an optimal consumer experience is delivered.
- Manage resources efficiently to ensure the supportive care program is sustainable and responsive to patient needs.
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery through strategic initiatives and quality assurance processes.
- Foster enhanced collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
You Will Thrive in This Role if You Have:
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nursing (RN), Psychology, or Dietetics.
- Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration or eligibility for membership of respective professional body.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership or management role within a healthcare setting.
- The ability to lead a team across local and interstate locations.
- Demonstrated experience in providing supportive care or working with individuals with chronic illnesses, preferably within oncology or hematology.
- In-depth knowledge of blood cancer, blood cancer optimal care pathways, and the supportive care needs of people impacted by blood cancer across the continuum of care.
- Strong critical thinking, organisational, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in utilising IT systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with specialised software relevant to the position.
- Ability to analyse and use service activity data to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for quality improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- A generous benefits package, including access to professional development opportunities.
- A dynamic and supportive work environment.
