The Harm Reduction Worker role provides onsite and outreach harm reduction services to individuals and groups. The key purpose of this position is to improve health, wellbeing, and inclusion amongst PWUD.

This program engages community support, advocacy, education, brief intervention, linkages to treatment, and referral services.

Some key duties include devising and delivering education activities onsite and on an outreach basis, establishing and maintaining active network links, and developing effective networks and consultative processes.

To be successful in this role, you will need a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, a minimum of two years' work experience, sound knowledge of health and social issues for people who use drugs, and demonstrated understanding of harm reduction principles.

We require a satisfactory Police Check, Working With Children Check, Pre-Employment Declaration Form, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and vaccination against COVID-19 (3 doses).
