Civil Construction Site Manager Opportunity


We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Construction Site Manager to join our team at Georgiou, a growing national business with a strong pipeline of upcoming projects.

As a Civil Construction Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operational activities on site, ensuring that they are completed in a safe and timely manner. You will manage a team of earthworks supervisors and subcontractors, coordinating resources to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Your primary focus will be on Site Management, where you will be trusted to:

  • ">"> ">
  • Manage earthworks activities, road and rail formation construction, pavements construction, drainage and finishing works relating to civil construction;">"> ">
  • Monitor a section of work to ensure it is delivered on time and within budget, meeting quality standards;">"> ">
  • Liaise with subcontractor supervisors on works in progress;">"> ">
  • Manage works in accordance with the Project Management Plan;">"> ">
">"> ">

In addition to your technical skills and experience, we require a strong leader who can drive productivity and manage the performance of their team and subcontractors. You will lead and coordinate labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors daily, ensuring a high standard of work and safety.

You will also have excellent communication skills, able to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including Senior Management, Clients, and Government Authorities.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an earthworks supervisor or in a similar role, with a strong ability to monitor a section of work and co-ordinate resources to deliver on time and budget while upholding a high-quality standard.

We offer a competitive salary package of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus access to our Georgiou Perks platform providing discounts to a multitude of retailers.
