We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Construction Field Technician to join our team at Wormall Civil in the Perth Metro region.

With multiple projects ongoing across the metropolitan area and southwestern region, we offer a unique opportunity for individuals to develop their skills and contribute to successful projects with values ranging from $500K to $10 million.

The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opening for a full-time Civil Construction Field Technician to support our teams working on residential development projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and locating underground services, ensuring safe working practices, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in the civil construction industry is preferred.
  • Ability to learn and develop skills in service locating and other related areas.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to following instructions and safety protocols.
  • Fitness and motivation to perform manual labor in various conditions.
  • Multitasking and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to undertake additional duties as required.
  • Capacity to follow procedures and comply with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) regulations.
  • A valid manual class Australian driver's license.
  • White Card certification.
  • Ability to pass regular alcohol and drug screening tests.

Desirable Skills:

  • RIICCM202D Identify, Locate and Protect Underground Services accreditation.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • TC + BWTM Main Roads accreditation.
