About the Role


We are currently recruiting for Senior Transmission Infrastructure Upgrade Specialists to join our skilled team due to our expanding project portfolio in NSW. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, focusing on time, cost, quality, health, safety, and environmental management.


With a strong knowledge of PMBOK and a proven track record in delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to a high level of quality, you will lead the technical aspects across multiple areas in the project management framework. You will be exposed to projects at every phase from tender through to delivery.


This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a once-in-a-lifetime venture that will see you upgrade critical transmission infrastructure as part of the green energy transition. You will work on multiple substations throughout eastern New South Wales with typical individual project values ranging from $5M to $35M.


The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, plus a 25% salary uplift when working regionally, accompanied by a living away from home allowance.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage projects from start to finish, focusing on time, cost, quality, health, safety, and environmental management
  • Manage contracts, scope, procurement, risk, and opportunity, stakeholder communications, and project integration
  • Organize and direct site labour and delivery of construction materials, plant, and equipment, and establish detailed programs for coordination of site activities
  • Help document the project scope
  • Identify and assist with resolution of scope discrepancies
  • Identify scope gaps between sub and head contracts
  • Collate data and compile upstream claims
  • Compile subcontract packages
  • Maintain site quality records and contribute to the development of QMP, ITPs, check sheets, MDR, and NCR register
  • Attend post-tender interviews
  • Compile and review subcontract packages

About You



  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant subject
  • Strong knowledge of PMBOK and understanding of how to deliver a project safely, on time, within budget, and to a high level of quality
  • Experience in tendering, pre-contracts, and project delivery
