Intensive Care Nurse Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to work in the Intensive Care Unit at Mackay Base Hospital in Queensland, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality critical care nursing in a busy tertiary facility with rotating roster working 8-hour and 12-hour shifts.
  • Meet the mandatory competencies of Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support, Manual and patient handling, Infection control, Aggressive behaviour management, Mandatory reporting, and Medication management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' ICU experience with proven skills and knowledge.
  • Proficiency in MR and Meta Vision (desirable).
  • Previous experience working in Australia, QLD Health, and/or Mackay HHS (desirable).
