About Us

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Mackay Hospital in Queensland.

This role requires a minimum of three years' ICU experience and the ability to provide high-quality critical care nursing in a busy tertiary facility.

Nurses will work on a rotating roster with both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts. Key requirements include:

  • Mandatory Competencies:
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor of Nursing degree or higher.
    • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
