Opportunity for a Strategic Fleet Manager to lead the implementation of fleet strategic projects, analyze current leases and partner with the FP&A team to prepare and manage budgets.

About the Role

This is a newly created role to assist with the strategic plan for a growing Not-For-Profit organisation in the Disability Services industry.

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the implementation of fleet strategic projects, including reducing overall fleet size and improving billing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the implementation of fleet strategic projects to improve fleet operations and reduce costs
  • Reporting analysis of current leases and use financial data to demonstrate impact for financial gain
  • Partnering with the FP&A team to prepare, manage and monitor budgets
  • Coordinating with internal & external stakeholders to provide timely updates on employee FBT changes
  • Providing expertise and advice for managers requiring vehicle modifications and ensuring that all necessary processes are followed
  • Daily review of senior queries in fleet mailbox
  • Managing administrative processes and building strategic knowledge required to manage and maintain fleet of vehicles
  • Data steward for fleet information, supervising both financial and non-financial information is kept accurate and up to date

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Fleet Management role where you are looking after a larger number of vehicles (in the hundreds)
  • Highly organised and outcome focused
  • Proactive and autonomous problem solver
  • Good communication skills and moderate business acumen to make key commercial decisions
  • Knowledge of telematics and fleet insight software essential
  • A customer centric approach, responsive to ad-hoc requests
