
Energy Network Optimization Engineer

Leading a team in grid management and optimization involves overseeing the implementation of complex energy networks. This requires expertise in advanced applications such as power flow, fault location, and volt/var control.
The RoleYou will be responsible for managing technical support and providing effective communication to customers throughout the project lifecycle.
This role offers opportunities to work across functional teams, including ADMS application engineers, architecture teams, and software development organizations. You will need to provide strong technical support expertise, efficient time management skills, and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects in the ADMS portfolio and serve as a technical support expert.
- Implement control systems at electric utilities.
- Participate in design, planning, and execution of ADMS projects.
- Troubleshoot and test product changes with development teams.
- Interface with GIS teams to extract and load electrical network models.
- Configure and integrate software components to meet contract requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Power System Engineering roles.
- Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting complex systems issues.
- Knowledge of system designs, computer systems, engineering practices, and control systems.
- Familiarity with electric utilities operations and regulatory requirements.
