Job Title: Occupational Health and Safety Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the business team to ensure occupational health and safety risks are effectively managed.

This role involves driving a culture of occupational health and safety across the site, embedding company policies and processes, and ensuring compliance with all relevant local legislative requirements.

  • Leading the development and implementation of occupational health and safety strategies at the facility.
  • Engaging in collaborative projects to improve occupational health and safety performance.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on occupational health and safety matters to stakeholders within designated areas of responsibility.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in occupational health and safety or environmental programs, preferably in manufacturing, production, or service operations. A Bachelor's degree and knowledge of Microsoft Office products are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Health and Safety Strategy: Develop and implement occupational health and safety strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with site leaders and teams to embed occupational health and safety policies and processes.
  3. Advice and Guidance: Provide authoritative advice and guidance on occupational health and safety matters to stakeholders.
  4. Performance Improvement: Engage in collaborative projects to continuously improve occupational health and safety performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., occupational health and safety, environmental science).
  • 3+ years of increasing responsibilities in occupational health and safety or environmental programs.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications.
