Parent Support Specialist

As a Telephone Counsellor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of parents and carers by providing them with the support and guidance they need to strengthen their capacity to parent and assist their child to achieve their full potential.
The role involves working independently and as part of a team to provide counselling and support to callers, helping them to develop and enhance their own solutions and strategies. You will be able to demonstrate advanced counselling skills and work effectively in a variety of community-based settings.
We are looking for someone who is able to work flexibly and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide professional counselling and support to parents and carers via telephone
- To work collaboratively with other agencies and services to ensure a seamless service delivery
- To maintain accurate records and reports as required
- To contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
