Deliver high-quality support services to our valued aged care customers, enabling them to live independently and remain in their own homes:
- As a Support Worker, you will provide personal care and support services to our customers, including assistance with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and medication management.
- We offer permanent part-time contracts with a competitive hourly rate of $32.56p/h + 11.5% superannuation.
- Our Support Workers also receive a travel allowance of $0.92 per kilometre plus paid travel time between clients.
- We are seeking Support Workers to join our team in the Far North Coast NSW region, including surrounding suburbs such as Tweed Heads, Banora Point, and Ballina.
Key Requirements:
- You must hold a current Australian Driver's License and own a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is a requirement for this role.
- You will need to be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Sunday.
- A minimum of 12 months' experience in delivering personal care and/or a Certificate III in Individual Support is required.
Your New Role:
- Personal Care: You will assist with personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, and help with mealtime and medication prompting.
- Help at Home: You will provide assistance with cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and assisted dressing.
- Transport: You will transport customers to appointments, shopping, and social outings.
- Client Awareness: You will engage in social interaction, observe client needs, and participate in ongoing training and support.
We welcome applicants with experience and/or qualifications in:
- Disability Support Work
- Assistant in Nursing (AIN)
- Community Services work
- Bachelor of Nursing
