Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our HR function as a People Culture Specialist.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who can provide expert employee relations support, coaching, and development services to our managers. You will lead recruitment and onboarding activities, participate in selection processes, and coordinate comprehensive new starter inductions.

As a key member of our HR team, you will develop, communicate, and ensure compliance with HR policies. You will manage and maintain accurate HR data and records in our HR Information System (HRIS), preparing regular reports and ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Additionally, you will oversee Work Health and Safety (WHS) responsibilities, ensuring all legal obligations are met, WHS policies are current, training requirements are fulfilled, and the organisation is prepared for audits.

This role requires strong relationship-building skills, solid knowledge of HR and WHS legislation, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. If you have a passion for creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture, we encourage you to apply for this dynamic role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert employee relations support and act as the first point of contact for employee enquiries, concerns, and grievances.
  • Coach and develop managers in managing employee performance issues, including conducting training on goal setting, performance reviews, and performance management processes.
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding activities, participating in selection processes, interviewing candidates when required, and coordinating comprehensive new starter inductions.
  • Develop, communicate, and ensure compliance with HR policies, staying up to date with legislative changes and implementing necessary updates across the organisation.
  • Manage and maintain accurate HR data and records in the HR Information System (HRIS), preparing regular reports and ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  • Oversee WHS responsibilities alongside the QA Systems Manager, ensuring all legal obligations are met, WHS policies are current, training requirements are fulfilled, and the organisation is prepared for audits.
