Event Manager

The primary responsibility of an Event Manager revolves around developing a collaborative relationship between our onsite team and venue management to deliver successful events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the efficient running of event staging services within venues.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and venues to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Inform and advise clients on suitable audio-visual equipment, digital options, and crew necessary for their presentation needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of crew rosters and schedules.
  • Report any areas of concern promptly to rectify problems quickly.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue in applicable venues.
  • Conduct quality control checks for operational improvements.
  • Coach and mentor colleagues to develop individual and team capability.

Your Background:

  • Prior experience in the events/sales environment is essential.
  • Relevant experience in AV is desirable.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, time management, and account management skills are required.
  • A strong track record in managing sales teams is preferred.
  • Ability to foster meaningful business relationships is critical.
  • Prior experience in rostering and cost management is beneficial.
  • Qualification in Hospitality or Events is advantageous.
