Position Overview:

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Based in Fremantle and Kwinana
  • Standard workweek: Monday to Friday, 40 hours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting analysis, scheduling, planning, reporting, and providing project controls support for the development and execution of various capital and operational infrastructure projects.
  • Delivering program and project management assistance, including high-level analysis, reporting, and governance tasks.
  • Updating and maintaining operational and capital works programs using Planview PPM Pro, Microsoft Project, and Primavera P6.
  • Engaging in planning reviews to determine the most efficient and cost-effective execution methods, translating these into a practical program model.
  • Tracking actual job progress against the baseline and reporting on schedule adherence.
  • Evaluating the overall program schedule and offering insights and recommendations to delivery teams regarding program performance.
  • Coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders to gather schedule updates.
  • Monitoring, tracking, and communicating to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and other critical path deliverables.
  • Assisting in the identification, control, and management of project and program risks.
  • Recognizing process-related risks or issues and aiding in the development of mitigation and resolution strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience in programming, scheduling, and analytical roles within the Construction, Infrastructure, or Resources sectors.
  • Familiarity with scheduling and planning tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Strong report writing and communication abilities.
  • Capability to apply structured thinking and evaluation to present coherent arguments.
  • Experience in preparing complex procurement and technical documentation.
  • Demonstrated research, analytical, and conceptual skills, with advanced data management and presentation capabilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools for creating complex analytical views, including Tableau and Excel Power Pivots.
  • Proficiency in Vlookups, Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, Array Formulas, Macros, and VBA programming.
  • Experience with Planview PPM PRO.
