Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to join our team at Curtin University. As a Program Coordinator, you will play a key role in the coordination and administration of our projects, including financial and grant management, project resourcing, and the coordination of assessment clinics.
About the ProjectOur project, Early Moves, is an NHMRC-funded double-blind, prospective cohort study aiming to recruit over 3,000 babies. The goal is to determine if General Movements can serve as an early biomarker for babies at risk of cognitive delay. By identifying these early signs, we can provide targeted early intervention to support infant development.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and administer project activities, including financial and grant management.
- Develop and maintain project resources.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure project outcomes meet their requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate project performance and provide reports to the line manager.
- Monitor project budget and provide advice to the line manager.
- May provide leadership and guidance to staff, through effective talent management, career planning, performance reviews, and development.
- Write and prepare project reports and related documentation.
- Completion of a relevant degree with subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to coordinate and implement project activities.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal and oral communication skills with the ability to consult and liaise effectively with a diverse range of people and with cross-cultural sensitivity.
- Demonstrated high level written communication skills with the ability to construct clear and concise reports and other relevant documentation.
- Proven ability to work well in a team, including respecting differences, leading, and supporting others, accepting direction, and working to group goals.
- Experience with project coordination or management in a health or research environment.
- Advanced computer skills, ideally including experience in database and data management.
