We're looking for an exceptional Senior Underwriter to join our team. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for managing our portfolio of business within set guidelines and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all new and existing portfolios of business in accordance with company policies and underwriting standards.
  • Mentor and develop junior underwriters to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Prepare reports on portfolio performance and maintain credit control over business within the portfolio.
  • Participate in audits, peer review processes, and other compliance requirements as needed.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work methodically and meet deadlines.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Australian insurance regulatory environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
