We are seeking a driven and ambitious graduate to join our team in Disaster and Emergency Management. As a key member, you will contribute to the development and implementation of disaster plans and programs that support the community to prevent, prepare, respond and recover from disaster events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of exercises, community plans, local disaster management plans and subplans.
  • Support the identification of risks, mitigation and response activities to support Queensland Disaster Risk Management framework.
  • Engage with communities to build personal disaster awareness and education.
  • Undertake research and analysis to inform disaster action and implementation.
  • Support project delivery for resilience initiatives.
  • Support applications and administration for grant funding opportunities.
