Job Description

As a data infrastructure professional, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing and managing databases and cloud environments across multiple platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for a technical expert passionate about innovation and technology to contribute to the infrastructure modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and support redundant systems, disaster recovery policies, and data archiving to ensure data asset protection and integrity.
  • Analyze and resolve technical support incidents in cloud infrastructure.
  • Design, build, install, and configure database servers while ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Automate workloads in cloud services, leveraging tools like scripting to streamline infrastructure operations.
  • Manage database operations, including strategic planning for production databases, data migrations, and system upgrades.
  • Develop and implement IAM security solutions, ensuring secure access and identity management.
  • Conduct research on database products and make recommendations to support procurement and development initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in database administration, information technology, or database architecture, with 2+ years in an enterprise environment.
  • Expertise in DBMS technologies, including SQL Server, Amazon RDS, Athena, and Oracle Databases.
  • Proficiency with cloud technologies such as EC2, EMR, S3, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and IAM.
