We are seeking an experienced Data Platform Services Manager to lead the delivery of a modern, scalable enterprise-wide data platform. This role combines strategic leadership with technical expertise, requiring a forward-thinking individual to drive improvements in our data analytics platform architecture and tooling.

The successful candidate will establish, scale, and manage a team of data specialists, including data engineers, data platform administrators, and data architects, supporting data platform development and operations.

This position involves leading major transformational projects, driving continuous improvement in platform reliability, data pipeline performance, and job orchestration. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for implementing observability frameworks, partnering with key stakeholders to deliver a fit-for-purpose enterprise-wide data analytics platform infrastructure, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders to manage platform priorities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of a modern, scalable enterprise-wide data platform to meet the analytical and operational needs of the organization.
  • Provide technical leadership ensuring that the platform is optimized to meet business requirements.
  • Establish, scale, and manage a team of data specialists.
  • Drive improvements in data analytics platform architecture and tooling.
  • Implement observability frameworks.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to deliver a fit-for-purpose enterprise-wide data analytics platform infrastructure.
Requirements:
  • Experience in leading major transformational projects.
  • Strong technical skills, including data engineering, data governance, and cloud computing.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders to manage platform priorities.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
