Job Title: Data Center Infrastructure Specialist

A data center infrastructure specialist is a technical professional responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of data center facilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in facilities management, electrical and mechanical systems, and data center operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repairs: Undertake routine maintenance and emergency service of critical systems such as switch-gear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, fire systems, etc.
  • New Installation: Installation of new rack capacity and provisioning of power/cooling
  • Vendor Management: On-site management of contractors and vendors, ensuring that all work performed is in accordance with established practices, procedures & local legislation
  • Performance Analysis: Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses and prepare reports and documentation of all aspects of critical facility infrastructure operations and maintenance

This role requires a high level of physical fitness and may involve bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching, ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely. A valid driver's license and own vehicle are also required due to site locations.
