We're seeking a Theatre Technician to join us at a civic centre. You will deliver audio-visual and technical support across a variety of live performances, events and venue hire activities; including in theatres and surrounding function spaces.

You'll contribute to setup, pack down and smooth technical delivery of lighting, sound, vision and staging services, while ensuring the safety and satisfaction of commercial and community hirers.

Working as part of a flexible and collaborative team, you'll help create welcoming, high-quality experiences that reflect our commitment to customer service and professionalism.

The ideal candidate is a practical problem-solver with a passion for the behind-the-scenes work that makes events run smoothly. With experience in live production or venue support, you bring strong working knowledge of lighting, sound and AV systems, and the ability to adapt to the needs of different users and events.

Tertiary qualification in lighting, sound, or visual effects is highly desirable, however we welcome applicants with equivalent experience.
