Job Overview:

We are seeking experienced professionals with a background in local government to join our Grants and Other Assurance team.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with local authorities, government departments, national services, commercial organizations, and not-for-profit organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Hands-on experience in various aspects of Grants Assurance, including examining financial records and carrying out audit procedures.
  2. Experience working on assurance assignments ranging from a few days to five weeks.
  3. Responsibility and ownership of interesting and challenging client work.
  4. Developing a strong internal and external network to learn from.
  5. Collaborating with colleagues to provide robust challenge and market-leading insights to help clients meet regulatory requirements and business objectives.
Requirements:
  1. Experience working with local government and/or an interest in local government, with a desire to develop skills and knowledge in this area.
  2. Experience delivering complex Housing Benefit assignments.
  3. The ability to work independently, synthesize information from various sources, draw conclusions, and manage relationships with clients, including senior officers.
