Job Overview

Southern Cross Support Services is seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our team as a home-based early childhood educator. As a Family Day Care (FDC) Educator, you will have the opportunity to create a nurturing environment for children in their own homes, fostering their growth and development while also building strong relationships with families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a high-quality learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children.
  • Develop and implement engaging programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress, including daily reports and termly summaries.

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in a home-based setting.
