We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Worker to join our team at Karoonda District Soldiers Memorial Hospital. As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to residents in our Residential Care Home.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager and collaborate with a dedicated team of health professionals to deliver high-quality care and support.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring residents receive tailored support.
- AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to providing person-centered care and promoting the rights and dignity of residents.
