We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Worker to join our team at Barmera Health Service.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will provide high-quality care and supervision to our aged care clients, assisting with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and mobility needs.
As a Direct Care Worker, you will work collaboratively with our team to provide holistic, client-centered care, ensuring the well-being and dignity of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care and supervision to aged care clients
- Assist with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and mobility needs
- Contribute to resident assessment and recording general observations
- Identify diversional therapy needs and complete routine documentation
To be eligible for this role, you must have completed an AQF Certificate III relevant to the position and have experience in providing direct care services in a health-related field.
You will also need to have experience working with aged, frail, or disabled persons and be proficient in using computer packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
