Orthopaedic Specialist

Stryker is a leading global medical technology company. Our mission is to improve healthcare outcomes worldwide. We are seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Specialist to join our team in Darwin.

The ideal candidate will provide clinical and technical support to orthopaedic surgeons, nurses, and hospital staff. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinical and technical support during orthopaedic procedures, primarily in hip and knee replacement
  • Building strong relationships with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Delivering ongoing training and education to hospital staff on the effective use of Stryker products
  • Collaborating with the sales team to support territory objectives and case planning
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and clinical techniques

This is a 2-day-per-week role, Monday and Friday, with occasional on-call and weekend work to support urgent cases. The successful candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g., nursing, physiotherapy, science, biomedical engineering)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, theatre-based environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is advantageous
