Senior Claims Manager

The Senior Claims Manager will oversee the quality and efficiency of claims management processes while supporting case managers in delivering exceptional service to members.
This role involves ensuring that all claims are processed accurately and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as providing coaching and mentoring to case managers to improve performance and service delivery.
- Conduct thorough reviews of terminal illness claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with organisational standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all outstanding work items and act on them within service standards.
- Be a point of contact for members, ensuring they have all the necessary information and are well-informed of the claim process and progress, managing escalations with empathy and professionalism.
- Identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies in claims management.
- Support team members with technical guidance on effective claim management.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance claim outcomes and member experience.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- At least two years' relevant experience in a senior claims role.
- Strong problem-solving and solutions outcomes skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to proofread and spell check.
- Advanced use of MS Office products.
- Demonstrated expertise in coaching or mentoring team members to improve performance and service delivery.
- Proficiency in using claims management systems and tools for quality auditing.
