Production Manager

Established over 50 years, 4C Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join their team in Western Sydney suburbs. This well-established food manufacturer is looking for a production leader to oversee the management of 50 employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage production teams, production planning, and ensure QA and WHS compliance across plant operations.
- Staff management – mentoring, performance management, development, and fostering a positive culture committed to safety in the workplace.
- Lead 2 Production Supervisors.
- Instigate daily, weekly, and monthly meetings, including Toolbox talks.
- Ensure staff rostering, planning, and training.
- Recommend continuous improvement initiatives to senior management.
- Liaise with key teams to ensure smooth running of the plant, including maintenance team.
- Proven track record of success working in FMCG in production leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of lean principles and safety management.
- Computer savvy, Microsoft Office skills including Excel for reporting.
- Proactive, results-driven people leader with ability to performance manage and recognise talent for future development.
- Superior understanding of HACCP and GMP.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong coaching and mentoring ability.
- Flexible, adaptable, and willing to take on additional responsibilities when required.
