Disability Support Worker Role

We are recruiting for a Disability Support Worker to provide care and support to individuals with disabilities.

The successful candidate will have experience working with people with challenging behaviors, a strong work ethic, and the ability to build positive relationships. They will also possess relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III or IV in Disability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and light domestic duties
  • Build strong rapport and trust with clients and their caregivers
  • Complete job tasks according to client plans in a timely manner
  • Write and maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification (Certificate III or IV in Disability)
  • Experience working with young people from trauma-based backgrounds
  • Ability to work with high-risk falls and complete Midazolam training
  • Valid Working with Children Check and National Police Check
