Disability Support Professional

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Disability Support Professional, providing support and care to individuals with disabilities. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for building positive relationships with the people you support, following established care plans, and collaborating with relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with the people you support
  • Follow established care plans
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders
  • Respond to crisis situations, offering immediate support and collaborating with appropriate authorities
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, assessments, and program outcomes
  • Work positively and collaborate with team members to ensure the highest care and support provided

Requirements:

  • Cert III in Individual Support or another relevant field or working towards will be considered
  • Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain)
  • Current (Paid) Working with Children check (or willing to obtain)
  • Recent and relevant experience in a similar role
  • 2 professional references
  • Unrestricted Australian Driver's License (required if providing community access support, driving facility vehicles)
