Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Maintenance Officer.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on position that plays a key part in roadside vegetation management, including operating spray equipment and applying chemicals to ensure clear, safe and well-maintained roadsides.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for general maintenance duties associated with roads and roadsides, including roadside vegetation management, concreting and finishing, pipe laying and sign installation.
  • They will also operate various items of minor plant and equipment and perform a range of physical labouring duties.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Behavioural Understanding: Creative, accessible, respectful, energetic and safe work practices.
  • Relevant Experience: Demonstrated understanding of and/or experience in general maintenance duties associated with roads and roadsides.
  • Valid Driver Licence: Class C driver licence with the ability to operate manual transmission.
  • Workplace Safety: Work Safely in the Construction Industry Induction ticket (white card).
  • Ability to Work: Ability and willingness to work in confined spaces, excavations and at heights.
