Project Controls Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Engineer to join our team in Perth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, monitoring and controlling project costs, and implementing Earned Value Management techniques.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project software.
- Monitor and control project costs, prepare cost forecasts, track expenditures, and identify cost variances.
- Implement EVM techniques to track project performance and provide regular updates on project progress and performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, manage and document changes in scope, budget, and schedule, ensuring proper approvals are obtained.
- Prepare and deliver accurate and timely project reports, including progress, risks, and financials.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, relevant certifications (PMI-SP, AACE CCP) are highly desired.
- Proven proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Earned Value Management.
- Proven track record in large-scale construction, infrastructure, or utilities projects.
- Strong data analysis, risk assessment, and cost control skills.
