Senior Cloud Security Architect RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Senior Cloud Security Architect to lead the development and implementation of cloud-native security architectures and strategies. This role encompasses the deployment of Microsoft cloud services and their integration with on-premise technologies.Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to understand program requirements and security needs.
  • Design and configure cloud components to align with recognized security baselines and best practices.
  • Implement and maintain security controls to protect internal programs from cyber threats.
  • Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions.
  • Develop processes for monitoring security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents promptly.
  • Collaborate with security team members to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
  • Provide security guidance and support to development teams to ensure the secure design and implementation of internal programs.
  • Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies, recommending new approaches to enhance security posture.
  • Document security configurations, processes, and procedures, ensuring they are well-documented and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years in cloud security engineering, focusing on cloud technologies.
  • Experience configuring cloud components to align with recognized security baselines.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO, CIS, SACSF, ISM.
  • Excellence in technical concepts with a demonstrated commitment to expanding knowledge.
  • Experience with security assessment tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate security-related concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
This is a mid-senior level, full-time position within the Information Technology function. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
