RAC Auto Services in Rockingham is seeking an experienced Auto Service Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at our brand-new Auto Service Center. As the key person responsible for managing workflow, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring efficient and timely completion of vehicle repairs and maintenance, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and allocate tasks to a team of skilled technicians, ensuring the smooth flow of work and adherence to schedules.
  • Maintain high-quality service standards by conducting thorough quality checks on completed repairs and services before vehicles are returned to customers.
  • Provide technical guidance and assistance to technicians when challenging issues arise, leveraging your deep understanding of automotive systems and diagnostics.
  • Collaborate with the parts suppliers to ensure the availability of necessary components for repairs, minimizing downtime.
  • Monitor technician performance, productivity, and efficiency, offering feedback and implementing improvements as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who possesses the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience in an automotive repair and maintenance environment.
  • Strong technical background and familiarity with a wide range of vehicle systems.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in workshop management software and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
