Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our Victoria Scrap Steel operation. As Operations Manager, you will oversee daily activities across fleet and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily operations across fleet and logistics teams
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols
  • Drive productivity and profitability through innovative solutions
  • Maintain high service levels and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and mentor team members, fostering a high-performance culture

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a similar transport or logistics operation
  • Strong leadership and customer engagement skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage fleet productivity and logistics metrics
  • Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, or P&L management
  • Knowledge of load restraint and mass management
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of OH&S as well as experience in SAP, WMS & TMS systems
