We are seeking a seasoned project leader to join our Supply Chain team. In this pivotal role, you will shape the future of logistics by overseeing the delivery of cutting-edge Distribution Centre networks and strategic projects focused on automation.

About the Role:

You will work closely with senior leaders to drive business strategies forward. Your responsibilities will include end-to-end project management, from planning and budgeting to stakeholder communication and contract negotiation.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals who have managed large automated DC projects, driven delivery and budgets, and led stakeholders.

Requirements:

To excel in this position, you should have a proven track record in a similar role, with expertise in delivering transformation projects and programs. You should be a natural self-starter with extensive experience in project management, able to influence at all levels.

  • A strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
  • Demonstrated ability to work and lead in a change environment with competing priorities
  • Understanding of FMCG, retail and/or pharmaceutical industries and environments would be advantageous
  • Strong business acumen and commercial knowledge
  • Ability to balance execution efficiency with risk mitigation, value delivery, cost, and quality
  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics or a business related discipline

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Significant experience in a warehousing or distribution environment
  • Detailed knowledge of a broad range of logistics processes, systems and equipment
  • Experience working with IT teams on complex projects
