About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at Whitlam Leisure Centre in Liverpool NSW.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth operation of all facilities within the centre, including customer services, pools, and the health club
  • Provide exceptional leadership and guidance to staff members, promoting a safe and enjoyable environment for patrons
  • Maintain high standards of pool plant systems, requiring technical knowledge of plant rooms and water quality principles
  • Act as the centre's representative in emergency situations, exercising acting authority when necessary

What We're Looking For

  • A leader with strong communication skills and the ability to inspire others
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence
  • An understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and public safety applications within a facility setting
  • The ability to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) and Current CPR Certificate
  • National Police Check
  • Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
  • Current Pool Operations Certificate is desirable
