About the Role

Uniting's Research and Social Policy team is seeking a Researcher to join our team on a full-time ongoing basis. As a Researcher, you will play a key role in informing practice improvement, innovation, and advocacy within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a large suite of external research projects, building networks across academia and the social care sector.
  • Refine your qualitative and quantitative research skills by working with our Principal Researchers on various in-house projects.
  • Lead the team's contribution to projects involving codesign and consultation with Aboriginal people and communities in NSW and the ACT.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g., social science, public health or social work).
  • Experience in conducting qualitative consultations in applied contexts, with an interest in quantitative analysis/mixed-methods research.
  • A firm commitment to social justice and interest in research relating to Aboriginal people and to the areas covered by Uniting's services.
