Researcher (Aboriginal Identified) - Social Impact Specialist

Uniting's Research and Social Policy team is seeking a Researcher to join our team on a full-time ongoing basis. As a Researcher, you will play a key role in informing practice improvement, innovation, and advocacy within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to inform policy and practice
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including practitioners, policy makers, and academics
- Develop and contribute to research projects in partnership with Aboriginal people, staff, and/or communities
- Refine qualitative and quantitative research skills through collaboration with Principal Researchers
We are looking for an emerging researcher with a strong commitment to social justice and a passion for research relating to Aboriginal people and communities. You will have a firm understanding of government bodies and social policy, as well as experience in conducting qualitative consultations in applied contexts.
Key qualifications and experience include:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g., social science, public health or social work)
- Experience in conducting qualitative consultations in applied contexts, with an interest in quantitative analysis/mixed-methods research
