Key Responsibilities- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Supervise, direct, and guide Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
- Develop and implement education programs to support patients' health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient care results.
- Maintain a culture of safe practice within the perioperative environment.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in a perioperative setting.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Postgraduate Certificate or working towards in Perioperative Nursing (desired).
- Compliance with Australasian College for Healthcare Standards (ACHS) National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) standards.
- Clinical expertise and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and continuous improvement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
We offer a competitive salary range of AU$85,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus additional benefits including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
